MY SECOND BLOG (ang aking ikalawang blog)

It's been days since my last log here in WATPINOY, I was busy making my 2nd and 3rd new blogs, www.watolin1.blogspot.com and www.watsports.blogspot.com. The first is my front page or headline viewer website inter-linked to the latter which is the same as the end page of a newspaper - the sports section.

Making these blogs are not that hard as I thought. I get informations from the web then put it in my own style and most important is, I can write my opinions, feelings, and excitements in it.

I remember a friend's description to me in a layman's point of view that blogging is like making a journal, a diary writing and putting it in the internet, thus sharing it in the web, and letting others read and comment to your subjects, experiences, news and opinions. OR, it is like making a newspaper that you are publishing it with the ability to share information with your readers, react with their opinions, reply and may communicate with you.

He also illustrated that for every section of a newspaper (naming a few are the headlines, body of the story or article or news, business section, world news section, local news section, technology and trends section, comic/literature section, leisure and hobbies section, sports section, etc...) you can make a theme of your blog. But, all of it will include the editorial and opinion section.

And of course, don't forget the advertising section of the newspaper (the part of the reel that collects revenue for the newspaper company) that matches the blogging in a money making process... it is through adsense (a group of advertisers that crawl to your site and put related advertisement to your subject, article).

Actually, all of his explanations and illustrations, only one word put me in my senses, not the adsense but the money. A few months ago, he showed me his blog's performances and the main highlight was the earnings in US$ and a whoooping average of 5$/day that is 150$ in a month, equivalent to my shared room rent or my monthly remittances...

So, there is really a potential of good income or may I say a good business in blogging while exclusively managing it by myself. At the same time doing the things I really want - reading and enjoying the most important in life -
free! - blogging is free!!! Well, that is for the time-being.

But as your blog's traffic increases, hosting your own site or domain will cross your mind and buying or renting one will be a must and as an additional investment (other than your pc and creativity) it is expected (by being optimistic) to have a possible bigger revenue...

For me, I have finished the first two leaves of my newspaper reel, so far, I've made seven articles or post published in almost three weeks now. Want to know how much is my earnings???... See you next blogging...

by the way, thank you to my friend zaldy (ofwlayf.com, zalds.com sites inspiration) who really provides me the informations I need to "catch my own fish"
